Sit down dining is possible, too.
Gazela is normally docked at Penn’s Landing near the Ben Franklin Bridge.
During your event, Gazela’s crew will give assistance, answer questions, and give tours if requested.
Artifacts from Gazela’s past life as a commercial sailing vessel can be put on display.
Gazela also makes a great floating stage for theatrical and musical performances.

Learn more about Gazela from our ship profile pages. For larger events, a joint rental can be arranged with the Independence Seaport Museum for inside seating, with Gazela docked beside. Although historic, the ship is still actively sailed and may be rented for dockside events in other cities.

Because Gazela is a retired commercial vessel that has not been converted for passenger use, the ship may only be rented for dockside events. Email us at rentals@philashipguild.org or see our Contact page to reach us by phone.

Gazela is also available for photo shoots and as a filming location. Gazela has appeared in several movies, including Interview With The Vampire, starring Brad Pitt (1994).
