Our Amazon Wish List
You can buy supplies from Amazon and ship directly to us. To deduct your donation on your taxes, our tax ID is 23-7272425.
We often accept donated services and materials to keep the ships running. Please contact us and let us know what you plan beforehand.
Ask your employer
Does your employer know how much time you donate to Gazela or Jupiter? Many companies will reward your volunteer efforts by making a charitable donation to your chosen organization or by matching your own donation. Ask your employer if they have a charitable giving program that you can participate in.
The Ship Guild is grateful to Mary Smith for establishing the Gazela Primeiro Preservation Fund in the memory of her late husband, William Wikoff Smith. This endowment supports the future maintenance of the tall ship Gazela. To make a gift to increase the value of this endowment or to be a part of a new endowment supporting the tugboat Jupiter, please find more information here.
Please contact the PSPG Development Committee Planned Giving Liaisons to discuss the possibilities of donations that would minimize your tax exposure. You will find more information here.
Call or email us at email@example.com to discuss the possibilities.
Help Gazela and Jupiter While You Shop!
AmazonSmile is a program where Amazon will give a small portion of each purchase to a non-profit chosen by the customer. It’s a tiny amount of money, but it adds up quickly when dozens or hundreds of us all choose PSPG as our AmazonSmile non-profit. There’s no cost to you! Find out more information and sign up at smile.amazon.com. You can sign up your entire household and add it to your phone app.
A similar program is iGive. This program is like AmazonSmile, but encompasses 2,330 other websites. It’s free to set up. If you install the ‘button’ it lets you know when you enter a participating website, but you don’t really need to do anything to make a purchase count, it happens automatically. It’s a great program that Guild supporters can participate in. Stores like Walmart, CVS, and BestBuy contribute. Check it out at https://www.igive.com/.
